Mataji/John's response: I received your letter a few days ago, and have been considering your plight. I am so sad you suffer so. It is so unfair, and it is difficult to understand why you are so unfortunate.
That being said, I can see that you are already realizing profound spiritual growth. How do I explain it - your relationship with your soul is becoming more direct. For all of us there is a kind of static between the signals of our guides (and our soul), and our personalities. Much like a radio signal, there is a signal to noise ratio. Your suffering is helping you clear away the static and thus making your connection more direct.
Surprisingly, when this happens, it can seem like we are getting less communication from our soul and guides for a while, as we learn to recognize the nature of the more direct communication. When we are naive, communication comes through our subconscious and the directions can seem clear and unambiguous. Those directions can be concrete and easily understood. The newer, more nearly direct communication, can be, in many ways harder to understand, because it is in multidimensional terms. The soul's concerns are less with what we should do or accomplish than with who we are or should be.
So, for a while, we seem to lose the clear instructions that so comforted us and made us certain we had God on our side. That clear sense that we are being given the right answers to share with the world is eventually replaced with an increasing understanding of how to deal kindly with ourselves and others. We find ourselves, as the Buddhists say, "knowing" less, that is being less full of ourselves and our preconceptions. We don't depend as heavily on answers, but become more open to others as they are. I see your soul already understanding kindness better. So while your poor personality suffers terribly, when I look at you clairvoyantly, I see that the only true spiritual riches that can ever exist are even now emerging at your soul level - a deeper sense of kindness and generosity.
Your soul really wasn't satisfied for you to teach an ideology of new age wisdom to your patients. It wanted you to move to an even deeper, more subtle, less concrete, generosity. It needs something that emerges not just from knowledge, but which emerges spontaneously from your one soul speaking kindness to another. It might be difficult to see, but I see you as closer than ever to finding that underground fountain of spontaneous generosity that people call love.
